Was so sorry to hear of Mr. Abbott's passing. I worked as a pricer in the warehouse (inkster park) and came over to the store on Isabel from there. He was a wonderful man and a very pleasant boss. My heart goes out to his family. - Posted by: Donna Dukelow (employee(from 80's)) on: Jun 21, 2026

Noted with sadness the passing of this boyhood chum who is moving on to gather with friends Muley, Teeder, Red, Captain, Chico and wonderful wife Gwen amongst many others who knew this gentle, kind man with a great sense of humor. Al grew up in a wonderful family … great athletes but more importantly great people. My condolences to Reg, Judy & all Al’s family & friends! We have lost a great man. A man of wisdom, First class gentlemen, and very funny. I was very honoured and blessed to have known this man. I have great memories of the travels we all (Roy,Pat, Judy & Al ) did together in South America years ago, but yet some days it feels like yesterday. My Sincere sympathy is extended to Judy and the family. Pat Sangster - Posted by: Pat Sangster (Friend) on: Jun 09, 2026
